Screenwriting : Early breakthrough in '22 by Michael Eric Ross

Michael Eric Ross

Early breakthrough in '22

Just a note to the community sharing great news. My recent meeting with Will McCance of Ian Bryce Productions, a one-hour consultation, went very well. He recalled specifics about my WWII drama on the Red Ball Express, calling the script "page-turning" and "well-written." He was less praising, but no less insightful, about what the script needs for improvement. I've been working on rewrites to Acts I and II since then.

I'm amazed at the things he saw and observed in my script that I never even imagined. The value of another viewpoint in this process, other experienced eyes, is inestimable. This is for me what makes Stage 32 such a valuable asset: its proven ability to find industry executives like Will, ready to make a difference in creative lives.

The upshot: After discussing the script in granular detail, Will requested my pitch deck for the project, and said he would be taking the current script to his boss, Ian Bryce, for a looksee. And he wants to see the rewrites as well.

It's my second great meeting in as many months, via Stage 32. Are we on a roll? We are on a roll. Thanks S32, for all your help

So so so happy for you :)

Dan MaxXx

cool, cool, but you're writing for free for them (company or individual). And make sure you own 100% of rewrites, especially since you are using their/his notes.

Maurice Vaughan

That's great, Michael Eric Ross. How are the rewrites since you posted this?
