Hi, I hope I this is ok to post here, but I have a production company who is looking for something very specific - a "contained action" script preferably with male lead, which means 1-2 locations. Needs to be able to shoot under $5M. No horror scripts please! Please let me know if you have a really great script that falls within these parameters.
Hello Kimberly, do you need one asap or you can wait?

Hi Kimberly, I've got a single location thriller with a middle-aged male lead that's done well in contests. If you're reviewing loglines, I can post it in this thread to see if you think it's a fit.
Hi, sorry I'm just getting familiar with this network and how-to's: Billy Kwack if you're asking if you can write one, prefer to have something already written if possible. @Matthew Walker - please post or message me.
Great! Please send me messages or links to these projects? Not sure how this works yet. Tim Day and and @Jerry Robbins.
Sent a DM
I can't actually send anything till you accept the network request in the DM I sent. thanks!
You need a lot more on your profile than that. Show us some of your actual work.

Doug, you can look at IMDB and see the credits
@Doug - sorry about that, I just slapped something on there so I could get in and post the request. I apologize for lack of details! It was a suggestion to come here to get scripts. I normally do not produce action films, so I needed to send out a request. Thank you for understanding!
$5M? That is $5M U.S. dollars, and you need to go to websites for screenplays? Call an agency; you can package a whole team for $5M.

Ouch, people are a bit judgmental and brutal on here ;-) I like to give writers who don't have agents a chance, which I am assuming many on this platform don't have agents or they wouldn't need to be here. And the production company that asked for my help could have done the same, but obviously they aren't getting what they need from the agents.

If everyone ever needs help with their writing we have great education here at Stage 32: https://www.stage32.com/webinars?search=screenwriting or contact edu@stage32.com for more information!
I have one with a US based actor attached. Please reach out to me.
Contained stories are too tight for action and work best with high stakes/tension...and u don't find those in comedy/romance/drama...check Buried/Locke/The Guilty, you'll'' see what I mean...

Kiril good writing creates high stakes tension in comedy/romance/drama. Locke was a drama.

Welcome Kimberly Montini Wow, what an opportunity. Perhaps you could provide more information so that everyone knows some background? There are some cracking good scripts from some equally cracking writers here, so you won't be short of choice or quality. Happy to send some of my own work too as I may have something of interest to you that falls within your parameters. Exciting stuff!
Agree with Kiril - a contained action script would be difficult to pull off.

To answer some of your questions: I do not normally ask for action or contained action scripts. It’s out of my usual realm which is why I came here. If you look up Cranium Entertainment, you’ll see more of the types of films we gravitate towards. I personally prefer to read comedy, action comedy, dramedy, Romcom and holiday scripts, but am open to reading really good content no matter the genre. The production company that I’ve worked with in the past reached out because they are looking for this specifically. Most likely I wouldn’t be involved in the production. I’m just helping out my peers! Thank you all, again!
Hey Kimberly, I just sent over an email about how Stage 32 might be able to help with this!

I have an action/thriller with 3 male antagonists and a female heroine who is a twin(one actress!) set on a barge in NY harbor (available!) and generic city street/office/park locations. Some extras. Is that close enough?
