My comedy half-hour script, Burger and Chips, placed as a quarter-finalist in the The Script Lab's Contest

This happened a few months ago but other people are posting about their success and I too want those likes!

It's also placed as a semifinalist twice and is in the top 7% of all half-hour pilots. You might expect that I'm rolling in Benjamins now. You'd be wrong.

Humour is of course subjective, especially English humour, and the most common note I receive on the script is "why is the police captain 8 years old?"

Anyway is really funny (you have to believe me) and the logline is: Police detectives John Burger and Reed Chips' days of drug busts and takeouts are put in jeopardy when they discover a portal in Police HQ's basement. Can they fight wise-cracking monsters and aliens and still make it to the pub quiz?

There's also a talking skeleton

Congrats, Lyndon. The project sounds entertaining.

Thanks! Coming to a streaming service near you (not really (unless...?))

You're welcome, Lyndon. Yes, coming to a streamer soon. :)

Lyndon I’ve heard stories where writers were contacted many months after, told their screenplay had just come up in a discussion and now there’s interest. It can happen!

Oh wouldn't that be nice! I pledge to name a location "Stage32" and put writers from Stage32 in the writers room
