Thanks! Next will be revisions (obviously lol) and after that I'm hitting the competition circuit with it. I'm not expecting anything huge to happen with this one but it'll be fun to see where it takes me. Definitely preparing for the long game regardless.
Your first feature… welcome to the club. Features seem to be less popular with the world’s love of streaming. Even I have had my head turned by a TV series.
Craig D Griffiths True! Both are necessary both are valid. Episodic writing is an art form all to itself and there are so many great shows/series' out now it's hard to ignore them. I really love that there are so many opportunities for every idea now. Features and short films will always be my true loves though!
Bill Brock It's called "Truth" at the moment. That may stick because I honestly can't think of anything better but subsequent drafts are coming so who knows?! It's a psychological thriller in which the main character finds out she has a microchip in her brain containing nuclear codes...or does she? I'm thinking James Bond meets Fight Club and a MASSIVE pyrotechnics budget that will keep it from getting sold for 20 years lol. But if you can't have fun what's the point?!
I love that premise Whitney Moore . And you're right, it's best to write what inspires you...or what is fun. We have no idea what tomorrow will bring or whose path you will cross that will enable you to bring this into being.
