This "down cycle" has now gone on much longer than any previous one, so this divested state may be the 'new normal.' Otherwise, the film and television industries are slowly gaining momentum; we've got our 1st major studio in the NE part of Calgary! That's exciting. Lots of great writers of all kinds in Southern Alberta, and we are starting to network more effectively. An ISA Third Thursday chapter is on the way!
Hank - thank you for the compliment on the Herod artwork. Much appreciated. Credit is due to the artist Niño Cajayon, who works out of Manila, Philippines. He is so talented, and we're lucky to have access to his work. We were introduced by Steve Stern, who is a legend in the indy comic world, having started back in the early 1980's ... a mere (gulp!) forty years ago! Ah, time rolls on ...
What are Folino & Biro up to these days ?!

You cannot overstate the value of giving and receiving feedback from other writers! Working in isolation, especially if you're relatively new to TV & film, is a good way to get scripts rejected. Good luck with getting those three whipped into 'fighting shape'! I look forward to reading your loglines / synopses on Stage 32 when they're ready.
