Well, looks like I'm done filming until I get a new Editing computer. MAYBE the Window 7 disk can fix the problem, but I don't have high hopes for it. Back to just staring at the TV all day again.

I just thought of a GREAT little touch to add to this new project I'm starting... and I think being a minute long will help it go viral.... If I can pull it off, that is.
Is a day spent watching movies when you could’ve been working a day wasted or well spent?
Well spent because a) you chose to do it - dont regret B) if you are involved in TV/Film in any way it can be a learning experience and c) a great excuse to eat popcorn and candy which is always a good day
Depends on if I'm mindlessly watching or actively dissecting/thinking.
I've tried it once to relax on day...it failed miserably because all I did was feel restless and keep thinking I forgot to do something....
I always built it into my development and pre production process. I get out as many movies as I can find that portray the themes or subjects I'm working on and if I get a lot out of one I will watch it over and over again
In fact I never watch movies serching for a inspiration of a new history, I try find indications of the lights, efects or animation. Some times I search some exemple of fotography, scenary or animation of lettering...
Storyboarding Vibration right now. I thought I'd forgotton how to draw! Do many other people storyboard before films or not bother?
I can't draw... at all... so my shots are all in my head and between my "matte-box fingers"
"Gorilla"? I'm more of an Orangutan. I like to get the layout down and shoot from that. It's better to be organized and get all your shots done at one location then move to the next.
For small projects I take photos based on my shot list when I am location scouting as I can not draw very well for anything bigger at the moment I use my shot list unless I can get a storyboard artist in on my work
I almost always use boards but I use a camera and stand ins, wish I had the time/patience to draw them. I always love to see them drawn, S

Just so You, the D.P. the Talent, etc. can read and understand what You See, Need and Want. It's easier to Captain a Ship and keep the Crew happy and on Your Side, if you KNOW where the hell you're going and HOW to get there. What a wonderful group of Smart, Fun, Artful Film-Makers! I hope You All and me too, Have a Great, Creatively Successful Year!
On a 3,000 mile plane flight, who, of anyone alive, would you wish to sit next to?
John Simpson. The stories he must have... wow.
my wife
My wife, the pilot or a stack of great books
Elvis.
Yip Kai-Man
If you could travel back in time and give yourself one piece of advice, what would you say?
Pursue your dreams and do not let anyone or anything stand in your way
Love that, Cynthia. Completely agree.
Always doubt the naysayers but never doubt yourself if you do you will become one of them
Ignore the naysayers -- they are stupid. Get a crew of visionaries, keep an eye out for the big drugs which kill amazing folks early, and make your move! (And watch out for Psychic Vampires!!)
What ever you do, don't limit yourself. You are going places you never thought you could possibly go.
Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?
Sometimes I wish I was just a genius without the worry. But I guess I fall more into the joyful simpleton.
worried genius! :)
How about and a peaceful enlightened person. Stupid Question again because these are not choices we can make.
Hey John...Have an opinion, but abuse of members will not be tolerated.
I tend to toggle quite easily between the two - often in a space of a few moments.
Which activities make you lose track of time?
Editing audio. I'm a perfectionist. I just spent all day on a little over three minutes of audio track. The sound is tweaked and balanced. There's nothing like the joy of calling the client and telling him that I'm sending him an mp3 - two days ahead of schedule :)
writing, watching tv and reading are all things that I start off thinking I'm just going to do for a couple hours and the next thing I know I've been doing those things for uptp 20 hours. If I'm in the writing zone it's great, but if I'm in tv watching mode, it's not so great.
watching tv while knitting ( no i'm not an old lady with 27 cats =p), writing, reading and going to the mall.
Mostly Preproduction of multiple projects at once, which it ends up combining them in a one single feature.
Making a beat. Lost in the emotions of every sound day turns into night and then 3days later.......Completed. So you say time?? I say days hahaha
If you could ensure one song throughout history to last forever, which song would you choose?
What time of day do you have your best ideas?
When my head hits the pillow at night. Inconvenient but whaddaya gonna do?
I'm with you James. After I lie down at night. But I've also got a pad and pencil there, so good inspirations can be captured (I always seem to lose them by morning). It keeps me up later, but worth it.
In the shower or during my train commute with my eyes closed and my buds in.

Yes, when the characters come to life and begin conversing with you - interesting experience, but it doesn't enhance one's sleep.
During my sleep
I would say I want to drop-kick that computer, but I'd rather beat the hell out of the messed up "mxtype.dll" file.
