Hi Kevin. My name is, Tim Hayes. I too am a screenwriter--well, more like I'm trying to be a screenwriter. I write every day, read other screenplays. Love writing. I live in Ramona. Give me a shot. Maybe we can get together and tell each other yarns.

What are some of the life changing experiences that have inspired your writing?

For me, it was helping a friend (Holocaust Survivor) find the place he was hidden in Paris as a child and taking him back to that location when he was in his 80's. This one experience changed me on a very profound level, and has inspired me more than any other experience.

What are the genres in which you prefer to act? As a newbie scriptwriter, I'm interested in actors preferences.

I'm an amateur screenwriter, and am curious as to what genre actors prefer. Which is your favorite?

If you had one actor throughout the history of cinema to headline your movie who would it be.

Many years ago, my kids forced me to watch, "The Fast and the Furious." They thought it was the best thing since ice cream. I'm car crazy, yet I hated it. They challenged me to write something better. So, here I am, a grizzly old retired curmudgeon of near seventy, who spent the majority of his life building houses and making jewelry, who now has six novels and ten screenplays under his belt that no one but family and friends have read. any suggestions for where to go next?

Why have so many of the latest movies turned into same old same old, and also, will the Niners beat the Packers? I've written six novels and three screenplays. Sci-fi, adventure-romance, magical reality.

I'm a retired builder/carpenter living on the outskirts of San Diego, who didn't start writing until after retirement. Since then I've written seven novels and a screenplay. Writing has become a joyous addiction, and I never end the day without a new page or two. In the works now is, The Cannabis Chronicles, the ongoing adventures of Alex Roma, a pot smuggling hippy who might have ingested a bit too many psychedelic mushrooms to be able to discern fantasy from reality. A mugging in Vegas only made his condition worse. Now his life has become a sci-fi adventure. A screenplay series, titled, Trippin', based on the novels, are in the works.

I also wrote a screenplay about a cruise ship from a distant planet that runs into space debris as it nears Earth causing it to malfunction. The monstrous craft slices through LA, and comes to rest in Disneyland. What do you mean it sounds devastating, t's a comedy.

Hey everyone! Just saying hi! My name is Ryan, and I’m an actor, director, coach, voice over thingy, screenwriter and playwright...whew! And yes sometimes it does feel like I’m chasing to many bunnies. I’m currently writing a feature sci-fi fantasy comedy which is all I can say about it in it infancy. I love these folks at Stage 32! I’m not kissing butt either but they have been extremely generous, friendly, and helpful...it’s really nice to be on here and meet so many creative people. It’s been inspiring to read some people’s journeys. This is my second attempt here at the “Introduce Yourself Lounge”. I am a stand up comedian for over 18 years and a plumber for almost 30. I am looking forward to hanging up my pipe wrenches forever soon enough.

I shot my own 1 hour special that I submitted to Amazon and I am expecting an answer from them any time now if they are going to accept it.

I did my own crowd funding via indigo go and it was huge success but I had to learn as I went along wishing I knew of stage 32 and all it has to offer before hand. So I urge anyone that is going to do this to take a webinar or 3...

My brother and I also write, we created loyd -bros production company and my special is the first thing we produced. I am hoping for it to be successful enough so we can make even a small name for ourselves so going forward we can sell some scripts and make a few movies.

Fifteen years ago, my kids goaded me into writing. A construction worker and part time craftsman background with a couple of years of college behind me--in engineering--wasn't the ideal resume to begin life as an author. I wrote anyway. Now, with six novels, and one in the works, and one screenplay and a dozen more I'm working on, I'm an addict. The question I ask myself almost on a daily basis is, where do I go from here? If you have a question for me--basically, an amateur, sling it at me.

Wondered how the LAPD and Anaheim PD would react if a three mile long alien cruise ship loaded with vacationers from a distant planet crashed into LA, slicing all the major freeways, and came to rest on top of Interstate 5, right next to Disneyland. I had to write the screenplay. Yes, it might not be the right approach, but I had to make it a comedy.
