Hi. I have spent most of my career in public radio, with a several-year hiatus in the '00s working in marketing for a non-profit, producing podcasts and flash presentations, and some minor voice work. I'm an amateur (wanna-be) voice actor and would love to get paid sometime to do something so fun. I'm the kind of guy who will mimmick you after I have been around you for awhile. Does that qualify? I did produce and perform in a live radio variety show while managing a college radio station for a few years. How many voice actors have looked int/ considered doing audio books? On the business end of Audibles they have a program where if the author is willing to give 50% to the reader, then audibles gives them 90% of sales. I work with a bunch of authors and we were playing with the idea of casting audiobooks and having multiple readers. Would anyone be interested in doing such a project on % of sales?
