My short film, re:attachment, is officially selected as a part of the Trendsetters Shorts program in Los Angeles Lift-Off Film Festival.
It'll be screening online for one month only.
Don't miss your chance to check it out!

I'm trying my best not to take any of these film festival selections for granted.
Especially when they provide opportunities for my film to actually be viewed.
It's been tough to get my work accepted into them over the years... for reasons I'll go into in a separate post... so I'd like to take a quick chance to send thanks to @liftoffglobalnetwork for accepting my film and recognizing its importance.
Most festivals may be finding other issues more relevant, but the reality behind sexual abuse and the weight childhood trauma holds over the lives of many is no matter to be overshadowed, especially where the rates of sex trafficking are at today.
When this film is finally released publicly I will go into all of this more, but for now I would like to strongly urge you to watch my film while it's available.
This is probably the most accessible it will be throughout the duration of the rest of its festival run... which will go well into next year.

Bart Poort You make a very fair point. Most gothic and cosmic horror in film falls flat because of that, but I think films like Mandy are exceptions.
