hey, Tim! Watched your videos on YouTube... Really cool.
Great to have you here, Tim! Congrats on finishing up your web series :)
Thanks for watching Stephen! Thank you Sadie! Great to be here!
Congrats on your web series.
I'd love to hear more about the top to bottom process. Congratulations.
Hi fellow filmmakers, I made another short film, and would appreciate any constructive feedback on it, thanks! I only had an evening to shoot it, no additional crew members to help, and a $0 budget... https://vimeo.com/177725003 Cheers, Andrew
Hey Andrew, Good cinematography, but I felt like you were stretching your footage in the editing room. Lots of shot reverse shots happening which always slows down the story beats for me as a viewer....

Lots of shot reverse shots happening which always slows down the story beats for me as a viewer. I understand you only had the evening to shoot it and no budget, but I think this piece would be better referred to as a scene study or an experiment. For me there just wasn't enough story here to last for 3 minutes (not too mention your OWN time constraint). One thing I liked was when you kept the male's face more obscured and focused the composition on her. Those were the shots that worked for me. Almost like her memory of him was difficult to recollect. Keeping his face out of frame or using only shots where he was out of focus in the background would also help to show her feeling of separation. Taking a more subjective approach to the whole "character sitting and reflecting on memories" is a great time to shoot things really stylized and go way out there creatively. You definitely have a good eye and an ear for music! Looking forward to your next piece!

My goal with this project is to show people what one person can accomplish with virtually no money... and that includes both marketing and promotion. So, if you can watch and share, you'd helping me out a lot, but you will also be showing people out there that if they work hard, they can do anything!
dude! super impressive
Wow, that was awesome! I was thinking of making something by myself like this just to show what I can do sort of thing, but was struggling with ideas and budget limitations and you've totally re-inspired me to think even more outside the box. Thank you!
Really nice!
Hi @Tim. The link to your work seems no longer in this thread. Will try to access your personal page, although sometimes this option not available on Stage 32 on i phone.
Tim, very nice work. I love your detail to sound, very much.
@Dan MaxXx I agree with that sentiment about the "Monday Morning" types. A lot of these YouTuber Essayists make videos about what made something great after everyone has already agreed that it's great.
