I specialize in screenplays of various genres that reaches out to the audience through emotional connection. I believe as a writer, our personal life experience's revolve around the involvement in our creativity. Our passions, hardships, relationships, etc, give us the focus in our character's development. I'd love to learn more about everyone, in which we can learn from another to create endless possibilities. Thank you!
Maurice, I really enjoyed attending Full Sail. They taught me a lot about reaching to the audience and really telling a story. Without them I wouldn't be where I am today. Let's just say they really brought out the creativity within myself to share with the world.
Kyle, it's nice to meet you! In a lot a ways we can relate to on so many levels when creating a story. It's all about reaching to the bottom of ocean and discovering what was once lost but now found. The ideas we can come up with leave us with never ending possibilities!
That's fantastic, Daniel. I've heard Full Sail offers degrees for animation, movie production, games, and other studies. I was planning to attend years ago.

And are you an Alabama fan? Or are you a fan of another college?
Welcome to the community Kyle!
Welcome Kyle A. Pettway Network away my friend. Onward and upward.
Just opened my email, nothing exciting…then checked my spam folder and there it was…a request from a legit U.K. production company for my screenplay! That’s it. That’s the post. Have a great day everyone!

Expand commentGood to meet you, Kyle A. Pettway, and welcome to the community! You've definitely come to the right place to learn more about screenwriting and filmmaking. Stage 32 has a TON of resources - and lots of them are free! Have you checked out our Netflix webinars? The last one will be live on April 25th: https://www.stage32.com/webinars/Netflix-%20-Stage-32-Present-How-to-Wri... But you can still watch the previous ones on demand!
Also, I'll have to disagree with you - there is something more difficult than filmmaking. Teaching filmmaking to teenagers at a public high school. LOL
Have you checked out the Filmmaking Lounge? I think you'll enjoy participating in the conversations there, and of course, I'd love for you to start a post of your own! Maybe you could share a little about how you like to work and what kind of projects inspire you? https://www.stage32.com/lounge/directing
Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my blog post on how to get the most out of the Stage32 Community:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect!
Welcome, Kyle A. Pettway Love your can do spirit. Onward and upward.
Welcome, Kyle. Great to meet you. What type of projects do you write/make? And Alabama or Auburn?

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
