Hi everyone,
I'm mainly an actress. I have created 4 short films. My husband has done a few short biopics. We are venturing out on our first feature documentary. I am looking for guidance from a producer or a key person to possibly lead this project. I have lots of questions as to how a doc gets prod...
Expand postHi Irena,
I’m not a Lead in this area, but there should be other Lounges to find people and a format to follow for the Documentary. Have you checked your local library? I’ve found film music books from...

The only word to describe the last 3 years is a blur. Early morning and late nights building the necessary network to make things happen are finally paying off. I've been developing a sitcom down here in New Orleans called "Riverhood." We'll begin shooting the pilot episode in August. There ain't no...

Anybody know where to find a film investor waterfall template?
I would suggest going to film proposals for an example template, but there are other softwares that can be used to also create waterfalls that are easier to read and use as well such as relevant equit...

Expand postGreetings! I'm a composer based in Ibiza, working in the video game industry since 2015, now venturing into scoring for short films. Excited to attend Cannes Festival from May 16-21 for the first time. Let's connect!
Looking for someone who will be attending the full time of the Cannes Festival I will be arriving on the 13th and leaving on the 29th.
I'm a screenwriter currently undertaking a Masters in screenwriting (Duh). I'll be attending for the first time this year for 4 days, and I know absolutely nobody - anyone into horror/comedy fancy a coffee or beer?. I'm in England, just under 2 miles from Shepperton Studios.

That sounds like a good one, Stephanie Moore.
I'm excited for this webinar, Stephanie Moore! Thanks for the reminder!
Hi, this is the first time I've encountered a producer liking my treatment. The producer asked what types of collaborations with his production company I'm considering (I don't even know what they are). I'm a beginner, I have 0 experience. What do you recommend?
Hi, Ksenia XX. You could collaborate with the producer by writing your treatment into a script that he produces, or you could collaborate with him by writing one of his ideas into a script....

Cheers could be rebooted to The Pharmacy, where all the regulars hang around a green juice bar instead of a bar! lol
Stephanie Moore i think maybe Mike Faist could be the man for a Labyrinth reboot!
Niki Galiano both amazing suggestions :)
Greg Berlanti and Netflix are going for a ride in the Mystery Machine. Who's excited for this live-action series? Is anyone here turning their Animation show (or any project like a comic, game, etc.) into a live-action series? Or planning on it?

Expand commentAlways liked the cartoon more than the live-action personally but it's a great creative team. INterested in how the bring Scooby to life.
I have yet to experience a live action adaptation that's lived up to the animated original, the closes would be Jungle Book in my opinion, then perhaps The Lion King. Still I would much rather watch something original than a remake of anything.
Daniel Husbands - I like your last sentence- making something original!
I remember liking and watching Scooby Do, though making something new is always challenging.

Also interesting to see how a film you make might end up at a place you didn't really expect, or be received in a way that you hadn't foreseen. And like Joshua V.H., the filmmaker, I used to also work the night shift (at a Post House), exactly for the same reason -- to be able to have the days free to be creative. (That only works when you're single!)
