MEET ACADEMY AWARD-NOMINATED, THREE-TIME EMMY AND BAFTA WINNING FILMMAKER MARCEL METTELSIEFEN!
This year, we're thrilled to announce a partnership with Canon, the leaders in cinematic film equipment making some of the top films and television shows we see today.
And, just as you expect from Stage 32, we are bringing in World-Class education through a panel with Academy Award-nominated, three-time EMMY and BAFTA winning filmmaker Marcel Mettelsiefen.
Some of Marcel's films include In Her Hands on Netflix (2022), Syria: Children on the Frontline (2014), Children on the Frontline: The Escape (2016) and Watani: My Homeland (2016)
Canon is a long-time favorite among filmmakers, empowering them with the necessary tools to tell inspiring and unique stories. Join Stage 32 Managing Director Amanda Toney in this exclusive panel as we demystify Canon's cutting-edge technology through a captivating conversation with Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Marcel Mettelsiefen. Discover how Marcel wields the camera as a tool to tell remarkable narratives and capture the authenticity of his subjects. Gain invaluable insights into Marcel's approach to storytelling and the art of utilizing Canon's equipment. Following the panel, we will host a cocktail event, providing an opportunity for you to connect with the Canon team and fellow passionate filmmakers
We couldn't be more proud to have Canon as a partner for this tremendous talk.
And, for those who attend the panel, Canon will be hosting a private cocktail party after the panel is over. Please note that you must attend the panel in order to gain access to the cocktail party.
Come join Stage 32 Founder & CEO, Richard "RB" Botto and Stage 32 Managing Director, Amanda Toney, as well as representatives from Canon and, of course, filmmaker Marcel Mettelsiefen.
If you have a film at Cannes, please let us know about it in the comments section below.
We hope you will join us!

Amanda and RB, I will be attending Cannes this year and would love to meet you. I have another event scheduled at the same time as your Cannon event and party, and will only drop in for a moment. I am available to volunteer on other days if that is useful. I will be in Cannes from May 17 to May 23. Cheers.

Looking forward to the panel and party as part of a wonderful Cannes experience.
Amanda and RB, I would love to give you and your team a hand in Cannes. I'm fluent in French, English, and German. Which roles are you seeking help for? I'd be happy to volunteer! Kind regards!
Greetings - I can't see a link to RSVP but would love to join you. Warm regards, Janet Watson Kruse Associate Producer, The Lies We Tell Ourselves screening this morning at Theatre Alexandre III In Cinephiles Selection
Hi Amanda, Hi RB! I hope the event in Cannes with Marcel went well. We couldn't enter, because our badges were valid starting with May 20. Therefore we wish to see you at the event on May 22. Also, I like to invite you guys at the screening of my short 'A Nameless Existence' (12 min) Wednesday, May 24, 1 pm, Palais H. Salut!
