Hello everyone!
I am Fatima, I am Italian, and I work as a teacher.
I have a Master's degree in Film and Television, I also studied film criticism, and I’ve been writing screenplays for a few years.
In the past, I have participated in some competitions (one of my screenplays has arrived finalist and semifinalist), and I would like to do much more. I have many ideas I would like to develop, and I hope to have new scripts to propose soon. I write in Italian and English (I am trying to improve my proficiency in English too).
Thanks, and good job to all of you!

Cheers and good morning Fatima Anna Cesari
it seems as though there are quite a few Italian arts and culture folks here on Stage 32,
I believe that through Italian culture there is a unique appreciation of cinema tradition, I find that very special.

Do not feel as though you must absolutely write your work in English. Italian cinema definitely survives the test of time, written and spoken in its native language. English-speakers still study the influence of Fellini films. We have also unfortunately been infected with by paparazzo influence to this day too. Grazie!

Hi. I have a question. What are the rubrics for film criticism? Form or content? Good casting? Are there certain things you look for .... historical accuracy, continuity in editing?

Hi Jenean! It depends on the movie. Sometimes I focus more on the cast, others on editing and scenography, and others on direction and screenplay. It depends on the cut I want to give to the review and what I think is important to emphasize about the film.
