Fleurette M Van Gulden: Choreographer and singer in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Paul Stark
Producer / Director

Hi folks. I'm an award-winning film producer / director. We're releasing a feature investigative documentary about the Vatican in January. I'm introducing myself to find out who is online and to see if any worthwhile connections can be made here on Stage 32.

Paul Stark

Thank you Susan. Pleasure to meet you also! Congratulations on your success too. Looks like you're having a good run so far!

Fleurette M Van Gulden

Interesting subject. Atheists and religious followers including Christians have been curious for years on the secrets hidden in the vaulted-library of the Vatican and the claims of unpublished books of the Bible.

Paul Stark

This is true. The secrets are intriguing regardless of one's religious beliefs. Our documentary focusses on a more modern mystery about a prophecy concealed by the Vatican, and why it is at the center...

People here are so nice, Thank you so much Michael :)

An amazing, fete. The choreography seems a mix of modern contemporary - western although the dancers, music, and costumes suggest Indian expressions.

Thanks for sharing, Clare!

Thanks for sharing, Clare! Most of the inciting incidents were quite clear.

What do you think?

Hey, what do you guys think about this piece of music?

Roxanne Paukner

Yes! I like the build in the beginning. It gets a little repetitive at :45. Really love the low and high at 1:30+. Nice change in the middle. I'm envisioning less battle, more epic nature panorama in the second half.

Fleurette M Van Gulden

It got my attention, but I never listened to the end... monotonous got to me. I'm nowhere near composing this genre but I would start it with a moaning effect, then spike with allegros.

All the best, I look forward to seeing your work in films.

The big move

Hey everybody,

I just moved all the way from Austin, Texas to Vancouver, BC. I produced short films and music videos while I was in Austin while holding down a day job. Was supposed to be a producer on my first feature set to shoot in April. I think we all knew what happened with that one.

While in Q...

Whoa! BC! How beautiful. The roadtrip to another life, I just did that with my family from Atlanta to Bloomington, IN. Congrats on the move and finishing a feature length script ain't no small thing!! Looking forward to seeing your success on this platform and in the world!

Welcome!

Fleurette M Van Gulden

I have been off, many social stage and forums including Stage32; as you see, I am up, living and writing what's on my mind. I suppose thanking RB for my resurrection is as good as him reaching out to in these times.

At the present moment, I am viewing Contagion.

Thanks to all the members who requeste...

Rules for screenwriting? David Mament has some for you!

Just when you thought I was finished digging up rules for screenwriters, I found some written by the great David Mamet, a person who has written a screenplay or two. Read them and weep, enjoy or even use them with your screenwriting.

Here's a sample for you:

ANY TIME TWO CHARACTERS ARE TALKING ABOUT...

Beth, there's yet another couple of questions to ask: 4) WHO CARES and 5) WHY? Always keep your audience in mind.

Beth Fox Heisinger

Doug, those questions are already implied within Mamet's three—creating drama, it's all about and for the audience. But whatever works, right? Lol! ;)

Doug Nelson

Beth, to you (& I) those questions are automatically implied/included but after reading zillions of beginning screenwriter's 'scripts' it's become evident that VERY few even have a clue. Basically that's one of the reasons there are so many JUNK scripts floating around.

This is great, thanks for posting :^}

Screenwriter Corey Mandell on "6 Script Cycles"?

I remember coming across this interview on Film Courage by screenwriter Corey Mandell, and it had a part to play in molding my "consistency" mindset when I set out down this path, and not only come into it thinking I'm going to write one script and make it big. What are your thoughts on this "6 scri...

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Does anyone use IMDb Pro for networking?

I’ve read a few articles that list having IMDb Pro as more beneficial than most other resources. I’ve subscribed for several years since I also produce and do other things, but haven’t really done much other than set up my profile and use it a handful of times to contact people or see what’s in prod...

That's a great question and the answers here are very insightful. Since just anyone off the street can subscribe to imdb pro, I can't imagine anyone with the ability to move a project forward would care to let them have access to their contact info! My opinion tho...

A story that shines and inspires. It seems fathers have similar hardhat behaviors. I came away from him late, but I left with three of the many things he taught; Reality of challenges, integrity, and discipline. They are my instruments, and I am using them to continue with all endeavors.

Pitching on Stage 32

I was wanting to know if anyone ever gets any requests for their scripts when pitching on this site to execs and producers and its not just like your wasting time and money for nothing.

Viquii Johannesson (Vicki Johnson)

congratulations, I look forward to pitching a lot on here.. great practice

If you are paying to pitch it is training and nothing more. No legitimate producers, managers or agents charge for taking pitches.
