Just finished a short film that I produced and co-directed called “in the end”. Now the fun part of editing to make it as powerful as the script was. Now on to make next project in March. I hope that these projects open more opportunities to make more incredible films.

I wanted to introduce myself, as it's 2018, and its a year for change! I have been screenwriting for years, but I am a scattered writer. I will be on a roll with a script, and then drop it to go onto another without completing either one. I live in Canada, and situated on the lovely Vancouver Island. Also, lately I have been jumping into directing lately because it's easier for me to put stuff on screen and not paper. I have been going to AFF for the past three years, and entered into the pitch contest each year. Last year was the closest to the finals that I have been in the three years. The person who won my stage went on to win the whole thing, but to have everybody including the individual who won tell me that I was robbed, was a good consolation prize for me.

Last year was my first time at the Austin film festival. It was an eye opener knowing that it's like winning the lottery if you can get a screenplay optioned. I was all pumped thinking my script will all around me and get chosen from some miracle chance meeting with someone with connections. Glad that experience is over. 2nd year I think will be different as I will do the wait and see approach. Hang back in a conversation of many until I can make a joke, then pounce from the laughter. Anybody ever feel that way the 2nd time around?

Does anybody know how to approach ESPN in regards to an idea for a 30 for 30? I have an idea that has bothered me for years in regards to a sporting event twice that I would like to dig deeper into the problems behind it. Thanks for any advice in advance.

People say I am a cross between Woody Harelson and Mr. Clean. But, as I get older I am a lot less woody and more appreciative of a really good shine. I am a bald writer, director, and part time sandwich artist. I have problems putting on my morning Rogaine rountine because I always singing cocaine by Eric Clapton when applying. The Rogaine is now absorbing into the brain because when I apply it, within an hour I start seeing Umpa Lumpa's dancing around me. I don't think it's the Rogaine, I think it's the payote.
