Hi guys, anyone here who can help me with some music? I’m currently writing a script for a short film, a drama about 2 close friends, about death, grief and that feeling when you lose someone. I get very inspired by all sorts of songs when I’m writing something, it helps me a lot. Can you help me please? Thank you so much! :)

Hello Mara! Thanks for posting this. Are you looking for someone to compose a score, or are you looking for songs by a singer songwriter, band, rapper etc?

Priorities that’s the issue at the moment, so far I’ve got a diabetic book I’m working on, trying to keep up with London screenwriting festival, attempting to read the hieroglyphics otherwise known as my notes on both of the above, then wondering when I can get around to writing the 3 scripts I’ve got rolling around my head, bloody attention seekers, get in line!

I think it's Chronos, but he seems to be in quarantine! He's not answering my texts.

Yup, I’m my hubby’s personal chef! He’s the T2d, stay safe and don’t touch the starchy carbs

Just thought I'd drop in on this Introduce Yourself session. Today is part of a long weekend here in Canada. (I think the American one is next weekend?) We've had snow AND almost summer heat this week. Strangest quarantimes ever!
I have written some articles for Stage 32, which you can check out on the blogs. Just under a year ago, I had to take a break from doing that as I was assaulted and my face was left pretty mangled. It took a long time to heal (and I'm definitely scarred for life). Not to say, I haven't been busy though.
As the corona-chaos started, I released a new cookbook (with my mother), designed a bunch more fashion items for my online store, and have just received the masters for my new album which should come out soon. I've been releasing a new "quarantune covideo" every few days which has been helpful in working on video editing. Most of them I've placed on my Profile page here.
Anyway, hope you are all surviving and somehow thriving during these strange times! Feel free to connect and let me know what you are up to! Cheers!!

Will do, Karen! Great thoughts. Appreesh!

Like a lot of you, I was pretty much randomly thrown into a bizarre form of isolation that the world has not seen since around 1918ish with the Spanish Flu. Luckily we have the internet in these modern-day times! AND we have cell phones!!
Most of my projects were pretty much thrown into chaos. My mother and I released a second edition of an award-winning Icelandic cookbook pretty much the day Amazon shifted to only selling essential items. Luckily, I had just finished my new record and my mastering engineer in Toronto was able to work remotely with me on completing that project.
Given all this time though, I started filming "quarantunes" or "covideos" every day or three. Just one song generally and I've been using an app on my phone called Power Director. Do any of you use it? What do you think? My videos for these quarantimes are on my Profile page here. I invite your thoughts! Also, what are you all up to?

We finally got summer-style weather here yesterday, so even with all the shit that's going on in the world and everyone being unemployed, we are all just trying to get out and enjoy some sunshine for once. Stay well!
Welcome, Jorge! Where in Mexico?

Expand commentI work retail for a living and write horror. I was one of those who thought that making a living as a writer would instantly work. Then again that was back in college. Recently had a pitch meeting and did some voice work- still writing and finding that success isn’t about the sales but the satisfaction. And reviews have said that my work is scary, creepy.
I get told repeatedly how good my work is, but still waiting for that option call.
Good morning! I know it's Monday and weekend is over but I wanted to say hi and happy writing this week!
thank you and wish you the same :)
Welcome, Cathy. How's your writing going?
I had it on my hand to hop on here this weekend and never had a chance. Good luck!!
