Hello everyone on Stage32! I’m an Italian pianist and a film composer based in London UK, I love composing for screen and I’m lucky to have my own studio where I compose and produce my music. Currently working on a short movie, and previously scored music for short movies and a feature film awarded in Canada, US and promoted on Amazon Prime.

Hello all. I love art and music! I am on here mainly as a composer, looking to do more work in films and documentaries, but I also love to draw. I am studying animation, and I hope to also make animation films (that I can also compose music for). If you ever want to chat about anything art or music related, I am always happy to do so. If you are looking for original music for your film or documentary, let me know if I can help. I have done music for short films, but I am looking for larger project too.

My name is Tom Scurlock. I'm a multi-genre TV and Feature screenwriter based in Washington, DC with Ohio roots. I focus on thrillers, horror and comedy. I have a deep affection for neurodiverse characters. My teleplay Spectrum placed in the Austin Film Festival and LA International Screenplay Awards. My screenplay Thief of Hearts won the Festigious LA Monthly Film Competition and placed in the Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival. Before returning to creative writing, I was a sportswriter specializing in college football and the Big Ten regularly contributing to Bleacher Report, College Football News, Time and FanSided.

I'm giving strong consideration to making a blog out of this, but friends, never give up. Here are two recent examples of why I can attest to this.

As a publicist, I am tasked with getting opportunities for my clients. I had two such occasions recently that almost slipped away -- but turned into wins. Mind you, this post is not meant to be self-serving, but rather, inspiration for you so you don't miss out.

In one case, it was an interview on a magazine style show on a network TV affiliate that the client said, "Guess it wasn't meant to be" simply because there appeared to be a scheduling conflict. However, as I carefully massaged both that person and the TV station, we ended up working it out after all such that the client will not miss their other appointment. A successful media placement!

The second instance was a print publication that felt the pictures that we sent weren't up to the standard of what they go to press with. Initially I tried to be quick on my feet to salvage something -- rather than an all-or-nothing -- and asked if we could perhaps get an online-only article, if not a social media post at the worst. However, in a last ditch effort, despite having been frustrated and almost giving up, the client came up with a handful of additional photos that I sent along and was thrilled to get a Yes response from, meaning that it would go in the print issue after all.

Friends, I implore you, never give up!

Hi, I am Patrik, an avid Houdini and Nuke fan, residing in Kamakura, the shogunate era capital of Japan. I just joined Stage 32 hoping to find other filmmakers to collaborate with.

I'm sitting here listening to music -- currently the song "HIGHWAY TO HELL", opening up my e-mail...and once again we find ourselves at another Introduce Yourself Weekend. And, as per usual, there is a theme! Five points if you can figure it out without using Google. And no cheating -- the rule is right there in BLACK & WHITE. In terms of rules, THAT'S ADEQUATE, right?

I'm Doug Kayne, and I'm a writer, comedian, and actor based in Los Angeles. I'm a member of the unscripted comedy group Those Four Misfits (www.ThoseFourMisfits.com). We're a pretty funny trio, and our next show is coming up on Friday, March 28 at 9:00 at the Whitmore-Lindley Theater in North Hollywood. Tickets are only $10 per person! I've also been fortunate enough to have had early writing success, with my first screenplay being made into a made-for-TV movie. Unfortunately, I haven't had the same level of success since, which has led to a lot of frustration and brought on THE HEARTBREAK -- KIDding!...sort of. Not a lot of the latter, per se, as I'm not giving up. And, while I do have a little bit of ENVY for those who have managed to be successful, I am proud of them, I am KEEPING THE FAITH that I'll be able to be successful as well.

Speaking of which, as I've mentioned before, I still have a completed first season of a sci-fi comedy series I've written that I'm hoping to get on a streaming service. We've hit a snag which is causing us to pivot a little and most likely film a different scene for a teaser as a part of the pitch package. While we thought it might be a bit easy, unfortunately REALITY BITES pretty hard, which has caused the delays. I'm including a fun little video with this post as another teaser for it.

Being in Los Angeles has enabled me to meet and work with some really cool people. I've been able to act alongside working actresses, actors, and stunt performers. And I even got to MEET THE PARENTS and Mr. Feeny from "Boy Meets World".
